Anchor Squirty Cream wanted to offer their fun, family consumers some added value whenever they purchased a can of Squirty. So, this summer we teamed Anchor up with Hungry Horse pubs to offer kids a FREE main course and yummy jelly dessert with every purchase of Anchor Squirty Cream. The offer is valid with every full paying adult and featured on over 1 million packs. It ran from July to September 2012 – perfect for the kids summer holidays!
Anchor not only wanted to create some in store and on shelf stand out, they wanted to deliver their customers value beyond price, as well as creating an association between Anchor Squirty Cream and fun, family, out-of–home dessert occasions. So we also brought this to life in 200 Hungry Horse pubs up and down the country with eye-catching posters and cool menu cards informing all customers about the promotion. Add to this the fantastic digital support and it was hard to miss us!
Whether consumers were online, in supermarkets or at the pub, they were seeing the brilliant kids go free offer from Anchor Squirty Cream all over the UK.
In order to get 2012 sales off to a flyer we created a cross-brand category promotion for Heineken UK, in the convenience channel. Fitting in with Heineken's Category Drivers, we gave away summer holidays to lucky winners, who entered through a text mechanic. We developed and designed over a dozen different pieces of multi-branded POS, distributed to hundreds of Cash and Carry's and thousands of convenience stores across the UK, all tying into our creative route. With thousands of entries our promotion really hit home for Heineken.
